Throughout his life, dance has been a defining passion and profession. He began dancing at the age of seven and by the time he was 15, he had already started teaching his first lessons. Over the course of his 23-year career, he has achieved remarkable success as a competitor, coach, and adjudicator, earning recognition on both national and international stages.His competitive career is highlighted by numerous prestigious titles. He was crowned World Champion in Latin American Freestyle and secured two World Cup Amateur Latin Championships. Additionally, he won the European Cup Amateur Latin and became the Champion of the First World Dance Sport Games in Latin American Freestyle. His achievements also include second place in the European Cup Amateur Latin, a finalist position in the European Championship Amateur Latin, and multiple national and international podium placements. Notably, he became the Russian National Champion in both Latin American Freestyle and the Professional Division Latin, secured second place at the World Championship Professional Division Latin, and placed third in the European Championship Professional Division Latin. Furthermore, he earned second place at the World Championship Professional Division Latin Show Dance, further solidifying his reputation as a top-tier competitor.
​​Beyond his competitive success, he has significantly contributed to the dance community as a coach, mentor, and adjudicator. He served as the Head Latin Coach for the USA National Team, helping dancers reach new levels of excellence. His expertise has also been recognized on the global stage as a WDSF Adjudicator in both Category A and the Professional Division, as well as a World Championship and Grand Slam Adjudicator. Additionally, he played an influential role in dance governance, serving as the Vice President of the Ballroom Dance Council for USA Dance.
His coaching career spans over 23 years, during which he has trained and mentored numerous champions. His students have won national titles in Russia, Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Israel, and Canada, as well as reached the finals of World and European Championships. For the past nine years, he has been based in the United States, where he has continued to coach and develop top-tier dancers. Under his guidance, his students have achieved outstanding results, including USA National Championship titles, four-time World Championship finalist placements in Show Dance (Amateur), and World Show Dance Silver and Bronze medals. He has also coached the first-ever World Championship finalists in the Youth 10 Dance category, as well as Senior 2 Vice World Champions and Bronze Medalists in Ten Dance. Furthermore, he has trained World Games representatives and the first-ever WDSF Smooth World Champions.
His lifelong dedication to dance extends beyond competition; it is about inspiring and elevating the next generation of dancers. Through his extensive experience and unwavering commitment, he continues to shape the future of ballroom dance, leaving an enduring impact on the global dance community.
